The mission of the Postdoc Advisory Board is to
represent the concerns and interests of postdoctoral scholars here
at Virginia Tech. Board members provide leadership and support for
the VT Postdoctoral Association. The Board works closely with
the Faculty Advisory Board for Postdoctoral Scholars to assess the
status of postdoctoral life and work towards developing a "Transformative
Postdoctoral Training and Education" in line with the Transformative
Graduate Education.

To help the VTPA and the Postdoc Advisory Board in this first year of existence, we are fortunate to have the assistance of Meredith Katz (Graduate Student, Sociology). Meredith will work with us on maintaining the listserv, co-organizing events and coordinating communications between the postdoc advisory board, the faculty advisory committee and the VT postdoc association at large.
