Graduate Welcome Week (offered in the fall)
Graduate students receive a warm reception during the week of Orientation. All new students are invited to stop by the Graduate School at the Graduate Life Center the week prior to classes to pick up information. The Graduate School is located in the Graduate Life Center across from Squires Student Center.

Meet the staff of the Graduate School and other graduate students, pick up helpful information packets, and find the answers to all of your procedure and policy questions. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about the resources available to you at the Graduate School.

Graduate Student Orientation
Each fall and spring the Graduate School hosts Orientation, an event designed to provide new students with the tools and information that they need to make informed choices about their graduate study at Virginia Tech.

New students will receive a mailer with details about the program. Information will also be sent out via e-mail.
