Library Tours
Newman Library offers regular tours that include their major service points and collection locations. To find out when their next tour is offered, check the Virginia Tech online calendar.

College Librarian Program
Each college is assigned a librarian to assist students with research related to their subject areas. Many of these librarians maintain offices within the colleges in order to increase their access to students and faculty. For more information about this program and the librarians assigned to each college, visit the College Librarian Program website.

Online Access
The University Libraries website offers an off-campus log-in that allows students to conduct research online from the comfort of their homes, including access to full-text articles.

Guidance for Dissertation, Thesis, or Major Paper
The Graduate School Catalog provides a summary of the requirements and procedures associated with the preparation of a dissertation, thesis, or major paper.
