Resources for International Students Moving to the United States to attend graduate school can be quite a significant adjustment. Virginia Tech has two offices devoted to helping you with this transition, the International Graduate Student Services (IGSS) office in the Graduate School and the Cranwell International Center. The IGSS provides advice and technical support to international graduate students at Virginia Tech in obtaining and maintaining their non-immigrant visa status in the United States, including travel and work authorization procedures, and general immigration and academic advising. The Cranwell Center provides social events and activities for the international student and scholar population and their families.
