On-Campus Housing
Virginia Tech offers on-campus housing for Graduate and Professional students. This housing option reflects both the diversity and tradition that are the hallmark of graduate studies at Tech. The facilities are suited to provide privacy, convenience, and an atmosphere conducive to learning. On-campus housing is offered only to single students (those without spouses and other family). Visit Student Programs to learn more about this option.
Off-Campus Housing
The Virginia Tech
Off-Campus Housing Office (VTOCH) maintains a website
with an abundance of information about housing, rentals, subleasing,
roommates, transportation, utilities, and so on. The site includes a
searchable database that allows you to specify the criteria that you
are looking for in an apartment. Students can also post messages to several
forums to discuss topics related to many off-campus living issues. Visit
the VTOCH website,
select the "Resources" link
to find sample lease and roommate agreements, housing fair information,
maps, and communities that provide accommodations for graduate students
and families. VTOCH can
also be reached by telephone at 540/231-3466 or by email.
