Graduate Assistantship - Office of International Research, Education and Development (OIRED)

The Office of International Research, Education and Development is seeking applicants for the Women in International Development (WID) Graduate Assistant position. The Graduate Assistant supports the gender components of OIRED projects, focusing on the Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resource Management (SANREM) and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Collaborate Research Support Programs (CRSPs). This is a GA position for the 2009-2010 academic year and includes tuition waiver as well as a stipend.

Position Duties
Duties include: summarizing relevant literature, providing research and writing support for funding proposals, and helping prepare materials for workshops, meetings, and travel.

Qualifications
Applicants must have excellent research, writing and organization skills, and a background in social sciences. They must have demonstrated interest in international development, agriculture, as well as women's and gender issues.
