Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program Requirements:
The Ph.D. Program in Genetics, Bioinformatics & Computational Biology (GBCB) will follow the general guidelines set for by the university and will include:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Satisfactory scores from a current (less than 5 years old) standardized test commonly used and deemed appropriate by the particular discipline, such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
- For applicants whose native language is not English, satisfactory scores from a standardized test commonly used and deemed appropriate for evaluation of English Language Proficiency, such as the TOEFL (a minimum score of 550 paper-based/ 213 computer-based / 79-80 IBT) will be required)
- Three letters of recommendation
- A written statement of purpose stating research interest(s) for pursuing graduate studies in GBCB.
- A current resume/c.v.
