Research Symposia Awards
Research symposia provide a professional forum for accomplished graduate students to present their research finding. Symposia are held by the Graduate Student Assembly, the College of Engineering, the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, the School of Biomedical Engineering and Science and the National Capital Region campus of Virginia Tech.
21st Graduate Research Symposium and Exhibition Awards
The Graduate Student Assembly holds this annual symposium with sponsorship from the Provost’s office, colleges and the Graduate School. This year a panel of faculty judges evaluated 75 research projects.

3rd Annual Graduate Research Symposium
This symposium offers a unique opportunity to promote research collaboration between Virginia Tech and Wake Forest University. It fosters collaborations between the two universities as well as graduate student presentation skills in areas of biomechanics, tissue and cell engineering, bioimaging and signal analyses and other medical-engineering interfaces.
